Overview

This final mission in the military career arc of EVE Online follows a very similar set up to the previous combat mission. However, it features the most enemies you’ve faced thus far, and they’re now spread out across 3 rooms. The game also throws a wrench in the flow of things a bit by having you up against a stasis tower in the final room. Your reward here will also be the most significant, with a serious combat frigate, isk, and faction standing being thrown your way. The ship in question depends on which of the four races you are working for.

The first two rooms are a serious cakewalk at this point, especially considering the majority of weak ships that make up the enemies there. Conveniently, the acceleration gates are also just a short distance away from where you warp in, making things a breeze time-wise as well.

The one point where extra consideration is needed is in the final room, where, as mentioned above, the Stasis Tower awaits with some enemy backup. Generally in situations like this, the Stasis Tower—or any enemy that is webifying you or, even worse, web scrambling you—should always be prioritized considering the extra threat those devices and their effects bring upon you. The webification will slow your ship to the point where the damage you would normally shrug off from said supporting enemies can increase thanks to the harder hits they can land on you, until it becomes overwhelming.

In this particular case, since there are no additional reinforcement waves spawned by attacking the enemy ships, you can still down them first to alleviate the damage you will be taking, or you can follow the general rule of thumb and take out the stasis tower first. Thamar himself will spawn once the tower is down, but he does so as a pod without any sort of offensive weaponry. Once the pod spawns, take it out to complete the objectives and wrap up the military career arc chain of missions.
