Acquire 1 x Civilian Caldari Shuttle* (5000.0m³) and deliver it to your agent.

Overview

In part 8 of the industrial chain, its back to manufacturing jobs for your agent, once again with a slight twist on things to round out your initial experience with industry. In this case, you’ll be manufacturing a single run only of a shuttle blueprint that should only require tritanium and about 3,000 units of it. The main difference with this mission compared to the previous ones is that the finished product will be an actual ship hull as opposed to the significantly smaller items you’ve been working with so far.

Important: Since the blueprint you are provided with along with the item requested is a Civilian Shuttle as opposed to the basic shuttle variety, you cannot actually buy one off the market this time around. You will have to manufacture it. The civilian shuttle seems and looks exactly like the regular shuttles, but the regular ones don’t carry the civilian name, thus making it a wholly separate item. These civilian shuttles cannot be sold or traded on the market at the time of this writing.

How to Deal With the Large Size of the Civilian Shuttle

Due to the civilian shuttle’s size, it will probably be necessary to fly the ship itself back to your agent unless you happen to already have a large enough ship to fit 5,000m³ in your cargo hold, manage to find a free slot you can use in your agent’s station, or just decide to queue your job on a busy line and wait out the extra time to complete. This is easy enough to do:

• Wait until the production is done, right click your current ship in station and select “leave”, right click the civilian shuttle in your ship hangar tab of your station inventory, hit assemble, and then make it your active ship.
• Once you’ve docked back up at your agent’s station, right click the shuttle, hit leave again, right click the shuttle once more, then hit repackage.

You have to make sure you repackage the shuttle at the end since unpackaged or assembled items cannot be turned in to your agent.
