Scavenger
Time Estimate/Unlocked: Halfway through Act I
Pick Up: 10,000 gold
There are seven gold achievements in total, each going up by significant amounts before culminating in a hundred million gold found. This does not include gold made from selling items to vendors, but can be quickened with lots of gold find items. I will make notes as I have unlocked these as to how long it took me to do (playing casually, but exploring a lot) so in order to give a decent estimate.
Spare Change
Time Estimate/Unlocked: Early into Act II
Pick Up: 50,000 gold
Unlocks the Angelic banner shape.
Second step up.
Moneybags
Time Estimate/Unlocked: End of Act II on normal
Pick Up: 100,000 gold
Unlocks the Soft Wings banner accent.
Deep Pockets
Pick Up: 500,000 gold
Unlocks the Golden Touch banner sigil.
Golden touch, aka special ability of King Midas.
Staying Gold
Pick Up: 1,000,000 gold
Unlocks the Runes banner pattern.
All That Glitters
Pick Up: 5,000,000 gold
Unlocks the Chalice banner accent.
Spoils of War
Pick Up: 10,000,000 gold
Deep Pockets
Pick Up: 100,000,000 gold
Unlocks the Gold banner accent.
A reference to the occupy movement.
Armed to the Teeth
Requirement: Equip all inventory slots with items that have a minimum required level of 25 or higher.
Unlocks the Knights’ Helmets banner accent.
Expect to get this achievement somewhere along in late Act III or Act IV of normal.
Prepared for Battle
Requirement: Equip all inventory slots with items that have a minimum required level of 60 or higher.
The next step after reaching level 60 is getting your gear to level 60 too.
The Comfort of Strangers
Requirement: Recruit the Templar, Scoundrel and Enchantress.
Unlocks the Dark Bleed banner pattern.
You will find the companions throughout the natural progression of the game, so they are impossible to miss, with the Enchantress being the last within the first few quests of Act II. Note that you actually have to hire each one at least once and have them following you, if just for a moment, for this to count. You can swap them back out for your preferred choice afterward.
Breaking Not So Bad
Requirement: Use a merchant to repair an item.
Very easy and something you’ll have to do at one point anyway as your weapons and armor get damaged from combat or death. You can unlock this within the first few minutes of starting the game. Also, this achievement’s name is a reference to the (really awesome) AMC series, Breaking Bad.
