Battle-Born Farm
Primary Location Guide

The Battle-Born Farm is a small farm located just outside the city of Whiterun. This small plot of land, owned by the Battle-Born clan is home to Gwendolyn, who lives in the house and works the farm during the day. Although she does not live in the farm with Gwendolyn, you can also find Alfhid Battle-Born working here during the day as well. There are crops to harvest and sell, a few crafting stations and most notably some nearby ore to mine.

1. How To Find Battle-Born Farm

The Battle-Born Farm is in a pretty easy to find location wise. Simply travel out of the city of Whiterun, then follow a counterclockwise path around the city walls, past the Whiterun Stables and Chillfurrow Farm. The Battle-Born Farm will be at the 3 o’clock position.

There is no serious significance to the Battle-Born Farm other than grabbing a decent chunk of loot without much difficulty and at the beginning of the game. You can harvest the crops and sell some of them back to Alfhid. She will buy Wheat (5g), Gourds (1g) and Leeks (1g).

There are a number of food barrels around the farm to loot and a Grindstone and Tanning Rack you can make use of if you’d like. Indoors you may find a large variety of food items and a few coin purses to steal.

3. Ores

There are 3 ore veins that can be found near the Battle-Born Farm, one of each Iron, Corundum and Quicksilver.

The Quicksilver vein can be found northwest of the farm itself, on a small ledge by a collapsed stone structure that looks as though it was part of the Whiterun outer wall at one point.

The Corundum vein is in the same direction, just one ledge above the Quicksilver.

The Iron Ore Vein is a bit to the south of the farm. Stand in the middle of the farm itself, then look south at the windmill. You will find the Iron among some rocks to the left.
